Who The (Bleep) Did I Marry? – Episode 406

My first television episode since getting back into the business.  Man, was this cool.  I am always amazed at the advances in technology in the last 20 years.  I still remember editing when it meant splicing film together with scotch tape and compiling them on reels.  My oh my, have times changed.  So it was a nice treat for me to stand by and watch the whole production process and all the rigs being set up and used.  For a techie and an actor back to the whole process again, this was like opening up a Christmas present.  I think the requisite word was 'giddy'. ...

VEEP – Episode 308

Wow, this was fun gig.  I had never watched the show and came out as background and ended up being featured as Mark, a campaign staffer for Julia Louis-Dreyfuss' Vice President character. Funny story.  I'm sitting there getting set up on a scene and I'm looking at this very dapper gentleman with a beard.  Salt and pepper hair.  Since I had never watched the show before, it was a bit of mystery as to who the gentleman was.  Well, you hear "action!" and then the two main characters are talking while the background is surrounding the desk, hence me and 7 or 8 more ...

Nightmare Next Door – Episode 412

I played a principal role as the serial killer Dale Eaton.  This was a very trying and physically demanding role.  Try doing multiple shoots for 16 hours at a time in -10 degrees.  In addition, it was very emotionally draining.  Getting into the mind of a killer is a difficult task.   Staying in character for weeks at a time is an even more difficult task.  I'm starting to understand how Heath Ledger felt after he stared into the abyss with his Joker character in Batman.
